Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to your email address when you subscribe to the Idle Battle newsletter.
Who is responsible
Idle Battle, the developer of the game, is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. You can reach us at privacy@idlebattle.com.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The date and time you subscribed, and the wording of the consent you gave.
Why, and on what legal basis
We use your address only to send you the Idle Battle newsletter. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you tick the box on the sign-up form. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell or share it for marketing.
Who processes it
Your address is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (privacy policy), which also serves this website. When we send the newsletter we may use an email delivery service, which we will name here before the first email goes out. These providers act as our processors and only handle your address on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your rights
- Withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us. This does not affect emails already sent.
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted.
- Complain to your national data protection authority if you think we have handled your data unlawfully.
